Liz qualified from Sheffield as registered nurse in 1995. She has a broad variety of clinical settings, particularly in Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedics, both inpatient and outpatient. Liz has worked as a Medical Case Manager for 5 years, with much of her experience in the liability market. Liz is passionate about Case Management, as she believes it is a positive approach for creating better futures for those who have experienced injuries and ill-health, and ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved not only for individuals requiring rehabilitation, but for those other stakeholders involved in the process. Liz is a director of the CMSUK, and a member of the events committee, which organises the study days and conferences.
Helen qualified as a registered nurse from Thames Valley University in 1998. She worked at Charing Cross Hospital for 3 years gaining a broad experience in surgical, medical and rehabilitation settings. In 2001 Helen began working for AIG Medical and Rehabilitation Ltd as a Case Manager and in 2002 became the Branch Manager for their Manchester Office. Helen has been involved in developing and implementing Case Management Standards within the UK.
The majority of her rehabilitation experience is in the liability sector which includes EL, PL and Motor. Helen is a Director of the CMSUK and is the chair for their PR Committee trying to raise awareness for Case Management and all its benefits.
